My childhood in brief!

Photo of Guillaume as a child with a cat

I was born in Pont-Audemer, in the Eure department, in the countryside. I moved to Le Havre around the age of 3 and grew up there. I had a rather restless childhood, full of ups and downs, but a very stable schooling. A curious child, I learned to read at 4; I've always loved reading and learned to cook and do DIY quite young alongside my grandfather. I dreamed of autonomy, and he taught me everything he could so I would be as self-sufficient as possible. By the way, that's his cat in the photo; I grew up surrounded by many cats, a few birds, and a dog for a time.

At eleven, already on online games, I took the nickname Yaume. It hasn't left me since, to the point where it's now part of my identity, and more people call me by this nickname than by my first name.

My schooling was a source of stability; I always had good grades, but that didn't stop me from ending up out of school. I left high school after a second year of senior science (Terminalé S) due to burnout. After more than two years of searching for the reasons, once I left high school, I discovered the causes: I have a lot of trouble with light, I get migraines easily, and so I have a lot of trouble living during the day. By starting to live at night, I naturally began to feel better.

Streaming

Yaume's pigeon avatar

I was taking back control of my life, living at night, and I found a job lead that was interrupted by lockdown! That's how, coming out of burnout that had kept me at home, I was... stuck at home again. I decided to mix two of my passions, talking and playing video games, by launching on Twitch. Making video games and live content, full of humor and funny moments, is fascinating.

It was as a videographer that I began to develop my brand image. A fan of birds, my sister, who is ten years younger than me, used to draw birds for me, and one day she drew this stupid-looking pigeon. I made a version a bit more suited to my expectations, and it was improved over the versions. Since I chose a pigeon in a cartoonish, rather parodic way, I brought back a running joke I had with gaming companions: "It's Yaume's fault." I'm a joker by nature, so when some in a group of players started wanting to blame certain problems on me, we turned those accusations into a joke, and it stuck, so I made it my trademark!

Streaming really motivated me to structure my first projects related to video, gaming, and content creation. The more time went on, the more I wanted to turn professional. It was a real lever for me to motivate myself to learn many skills around this medium, work independently, and chat with the community forming around me. And it's thanks to these encounters that one of them led me to meet Thomas.

Discovering Thomas and Tardix

After lockdown, I worked in a nightclub for 3 years. I learned quite useful skills there, improved my sales qualities, learned customer service, and took many opportunities to learn the various jobs in a nightclub. It was while I was alternating between streaming and working at the nightclub on weekends that I met Thomas one day at 4 a.m. I had just settled a problem for a streamer who was a mutual acquaintance, and he came to see what we were doing. I then briefly discovered the Tardix project and the project to launch a first video activity, hence Thomas's contact with a streamer.

Eager to know more, I planned to see him a few days later to learn as many details as possible. I would say without a doubt that this day was a major upheaval in my life: I discovered the Tardix concept, and the more I looked into the details, the more I was faced with arguments leaning toward the fact that it could work. I therefore agreed to be part of this videographer company. It was an opportunity for me to launch all the activities I wanted to start in Tardix Audiovisuel, and more.

Omuna

Thus, shortly after the creation of Tardix in April 2024, we created Omuna with the goal of structuring a team of ambitious videographers. Omuna was the name of the first company I wanted to create, and it's an acronym; I'll let you search for what it means yourself. In May, I took advantage of a medieval event; here is a souvenir photo of me in medieval attire.

In Omuna and alongside Thomas, I learn valuable skills in business management, improve my IT knowledge, and accumulate as many skills as possible that will serve us in our activities.

Joining Tardix

Showing my skills and participating as actively as possible in Tardix, and at the time, in Tardix Audiovisuel, participating in the creation of brand identities, the construction of websites, and many varied tasks whenever the opportunity arises, I obtained my place in Tardix, and later, the management of the audiovisual part, which quickly became MainVision. The advertising part, which was originally separate, also interested me, so I made sure to integrate it into the audiovisual part to gather the creative parts. Since then, I've helped build the Tardix team and started building the MainVision team. I contributed to naming most of the companies and continue this task regularly, in addition to content creation.

Today

Today, I am one of the very active contributors to Tardix. Whether through communication, managing MainVision, advancing the websites, social media posts, recruitment, or the project's internal communication. Being a very sociable person, being at the heart of the activity is a pleasure every day—communicating with everyone, allowing each person to move forward, making presentations of Tardix to anyone who wants to hear.

Linking people socially is a passion; doing it in an exciting project is even better. As a result of passing information around in Tardix, I'm often called the carrier pigeon or the town crier!

And above all, don't forget: it's always Yaume's fault!
